A leading kitchen development company is looking to hire a Sales Manager who will oversee a team of salespeople and play a crucial role in expanding their sales operations into new states. This position requires a dynamic leader with a proven track record in sales management, particularly in the kitchen or construction industry. The ideal candidate will excel in mentoring sales professionals, supporting them in closing large deals, and driving the team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and support a team of four salespeople, ensuring they have the tools, resources, and guidance needed to succeed.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase market share and drive revenue growth, including expansion into new states.
Provide hands-on support for complex and high-value sales opportunities, assisting with negotiations, presentations, and closing.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with builders and key industry players to generate new business and expand existing accounts.
Track and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management and making data-driven recommendations for improvements.
Conduct ongoing training sessions for the sales team to enhance their skills, product knowledge, and sales techniques.
Identify and pursue opportunities for entering new markets and states, developing strategies to effectively penetrate these regions.
Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure a cohesive approach to sales and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Sales Manager or similar role, with a track record of managing and growing high-performing sales teams.
Excellent leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
Preferably someone who comes with experience dealing with builders.
Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a demonstrated ability to handle complex sales processes.
Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
