OBGYN Clinical Unit Manager (RN)

A well established Medical Facility is looking to hire a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team as a Clinical Unit Manager for our OB/GYN department. This role combines leadership responsibilities with clinical expertise to ensure the highest standards of patient care, operational efficiency, and staff development within our medical center.

Provide clinical oversight and leadership within the OB/GYN department.
Ensure adherence to evidence-based practices and protocols to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate patient care.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes and experiences.
Oversee daily operations, including patient flow, staffing assignments, and resource allocation.
Monitor and maintain compliance with regulatory standards, policies, and procedures.
Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care delivery and department efficiency.
Recruit, train, and mentor nursing staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to promote staff development and accountability.
Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment to enhance team morale and engagement.
Advocate for patient rights and ensure a patient-centered approach in care delivery.
Address patient and family concerns promptly and professionally.
Participate in patient education initiatives to promote health literacy and empowerment.
Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and support staff to coordinate care effectively.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including patients, families, and community partners.
Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and projects to contribute to organizational goals and initiatives.
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of New York.
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred.
Proven clinical leadership experience in an OB/GYN setting.
Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, compliance, and patient safety standards.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
Leadership qualities such as integrity, accountability, and decision-making capabilities.

Location: Brooklyn, NY
Salary: $150K
