HR & Recruitment Generalist

A prominent Health Clinic is seeking a skilled HR and Recruitment Generalist to join their team. This role plays a critical part in managing human resources functions and supporting recruitment efforts to ensure the clinic attracts and retains talented healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR operations, recruitment strategies, and a passion for contributing to a positive workplace culture in the healthcare sector.

Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day HR operations, including employee relations, performance management, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Administer HR policies and procedures, ensuring consistency and fairness across all departments.
Manage employee records, benefits administration, and payroll processes in collaboration with the HR team.
Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for clinical and non-clinical positions.
Source candidates through various channels (job boards, social media, networking, etc.) and conduct initial screenings and interviews.
Coordinate the interview process, facilitate hiring decisions, and onboard new employees effectively.
Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and opportunities for professional development.
Organize and deliver orientation sessions for new hires to ensure a smooth transition into the organization.
Support ongoing learning initiatives and career growth opportunities for staff members.
Prepare HR metrics and reports for management, highlighting key trends, staffing metrics, and other relevant data.
Utilize data to assess recruitment effectiveness, turnover rates, and employee satisfaction levels.
Stay current on labour laws and regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievances, in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role, preferably in a healthcare or non-profit environment.
Strong knowledge of HR functions and best practices, including recruitment, performance management, and employee relations.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to prioritize tasks, handle confidential information discreetly, and work independently with minimal supervision.
