Architecht/Construction Manager

A construction/Architect firm is seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of architectural plans and construction processes, coupled with excellent managerial and communication skills. This role involves overseeing various construction projects, collaborating with the team, and ensuring that projects are completed efficiently, on time, and within budget.

Responsibilities: 

Plan and oversee construction projects from start to finish, ensuring that they meet quality standards, deadlines, and budgetary requirements.
Review architectural plans, specifications, and other project documentation to understand project scope and requirements.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
Manage project schedules, resources, and budgets effectively, identifying and addressing any issues or delays promptly.
Monitor construction progress and quality, conducting regular inspections and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and any potential risks.
Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards throughout the construction process.
Resolve any conflicts or disputes that may arise during the course of the project, fostering positive working relationships among team members.
Procure materials, equipment, and services necessary for construction activities, negotiating contracts and pricing when required.
Evaluate project performance and outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing lessons learned for future projects. 

Qualifications: 

Proven experience in construction project management, with a strong understanding of construction techniques, materials, and processes.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural plans, drawings, and specifications.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong leadership abilities, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise with various stakeholders.
