Sales rep

Sales Representative

A Plastic company is seeking a sales representative who will specialize in trade shows. The candidate will be responsible for representing the company and its products/services at various industry events, exhibitions, and trade shows. In addition, the candidate  will play a crucial role in promoting the company brand, generating leads, and driving sales through effective communication, networking, and relationship-building with potential clients and industry stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Research upcoming trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events relevant to our target market.
Coordinate logistics including booth setup, promotional materials, and travel arrangements.
Develop strategies to maximize engagement and lead generation at each event.
Welcome visitors to the booth and initiate conversations to understand their needs and interests.
Showcase our products/services effectively, highlighting key features and
benefits.
Provide demonstrations or product presentations as needed.
Engage with attendees to identify potential leads and prospects.
Collect contact information and qualify leads based on predefined criteria.
Follow up with leads promptly to nurture relationships and move them through the sales funnel.
Establish rapport with industry professionals, potential clients, and partners.
Represent the company professionally and ethically at all times.
Actively promote our products/services and educate potential clients on their value proposition.
Close sales and negotiate contracts with prospective clients.
Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the company's revenue growth. Compile and analyse data from trade show participation, including leads generated, sales made, and return on investment.
Provide feedback and insights to the sales and marketing teams for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in sales, preferably in a trade show or events environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong negotiation and sales closing abilities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.

Location: Brooklyn, NY
Salary: Base + Commission
