A P&C Insurance Company is seeking an experienced Claims Manager.
This position will oversee claims processing, communicate with clients, communicate with insurance carriers, and promote efficient operations.
Responsibilities:
- Help conceptualize and implement policies and procedures for claims processing.
- Provide services to clients and ensure optimal handling of all claims.
- Evaluate incoming claims, determine how to proceed, and initiate action on behalf of the client.
- Initiate and track ongoing claims. Follow established procedures to ensure ideal outcomes. Communicate with insurance carriers and clients throughout the claims process.
- Prepare all documentation and reports related to claims.
- Employ best practices to achieve ideal outcomes.
- Routinely strive to improve existing department processes.
Requirements:
- Related work experience.
- Knowledge of P&C Insurance.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Highly motivated and detail oriented.
- Ability to navigate complex insurance carrier policies and protocols.
