A Property & Casualty Insurance company is seeking a skilled Underwriter to review and process client accounts.
Role Responsibilities:
- Employ robust analytical skills to appropriately evaluate a variety of insurance applications.
- Underwrite newly approved submissions following all guidelines set forth by the company.
- Evaluate and assess exposure risks and offer recommendations accordingly.
- Accurately determine insurance coverage amounts and premiums as required.
- Conduct correspondence with clients and other relevant departments in a professional and courteous manner
- Negotiate as required with relevant stakeholders and address client concerns and inquiries in a timely manner.
- Other responsibilities as requested.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Independent and self-driven work ethic.
- Outstanding time management and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented.
- Ability to problem solve and make appropriate decisions.
- High level of computer literacy and competency with routine software applications. Proficiency using MS Office applications.
