A consumer products Manufacturer is seeking a skilled AP Team Leader.
This position will lead the AP team, establish policies, provide direction, and ensure smooth operations are maintained.
Responsibilities:
- Develop best practices for department operations.
- Assist AP team members with questions or concerns. Personally resolve escalated accounts.
- Review and approve invoices.
- Review and approve expenses.
- Ensure all expenses and invoices are submitted in a timely fashion for approval.
- Reconcile expense and vendor accounts an a routine basis to ensure accuracy.
- Provide department information to senior management parodically for detailed financial reports.
- Assist with company-wide financial reporting and analysis for internal and external purposes.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of AP work experience. Must have comprehensive knowledge of AP cycles and finance operations.
- Management and Operations ability. Proven team leader.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong MS Great Plains and MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP's, pivot tables, complex formulas, conditional formatting, troubleshooting, and template development.
